The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG 'Laser Black University Red' (IV6750-001) brings Jordan Brand's mid-2000s laser-etched artwork to the Air Jordan 1 Low. Released on 22 August 2026, it covers a black leather upper with a laser-etched collage of Jordan iconography in Palomino brown.
Overview
Jordan Brand first used laser etching in 2005 to burn a mosaic of Michael Jordan's career into the Air Jordan 20 and the Air Jordan 4 'Laser'. The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Laser revives that design language for 2026, and a matching laser treatment is planned for the Air Jordan 4.
The etched panels wrap the toe, eyestays and sides, revealing lighter leather beneath to form stars, numbers, jersey references and the recurring '85' that marks the line's birth year. University Red laces and red Wings logos add contrast, and a white midsole completes the build.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Laser is for fans who want a black-and-red Jordan with more to look at. The dark base keeps it easy to style with denim or black trousers, and the etching rewards a closer look.
