The BAPE 1st Camo Shark Sweatpants 'Yellow' stand as a bold embodiment of A Bathing Ape’s enduring streetwear legacy. Synonymous with disruptive design and Japanese street culture, these sweatpants blend functionality with the brand’s iconic motifs, creating a standout piece for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Originally introduced in the early 2000s, the BAPE Shark motif has since become a global symbol of high-impact street fashion, often seen on collaborations with the likes of adidas, Supreme, and Undefeated. This yellow rendition pays homage to BAPE's signature 1st Camo pattern while amplifying visual appeal through saturated tones and aggressive branding.
Overview
The sweatpants feature BAPE’s original 1st Camo print in a bold yellow colorway, crafted from a heavyweight cotton blend for warmth and structure. The focal point remains the Shark face graphic—placed prominently across the upper thigh area—complete with sharp teeth, eyes, and the iconic half-zip mouth detail running across the crotch area. On the reverse, the "WGM" (World Gone Mad) lettering—another hallmark of the brand—is embroidered in varsity-style block letters. Ribbed cuffs, an elastic waistband with drawstring adjustment, and two side pockets ensure the pants retain their comfort and utility, whether styled casually or as part of a coordinated BAPE ensemble.
Key Highlights
• Iconic 1st Camo Print: Features A Bathing Ape’s most recognized camouflage pattern in a high-contrast yellow and olive palette.
• Signature Shark Face Design: Includes the aggressive split-face shark graphic with detailed embroidery and functional zip closure.
• WGM Branding: Embellished with varsity-style “World Gone Mad” lettering on the back, a defining visual element in BAPE’s design language.
