Nike Air More Uptempo Knicks – Nike Air More Uptempo ‘Knicks’ (2017) delivers a standout fusion of basketball heritage and street-ready design. This bold retro colorway takes the iconic mid-’90s silhouette and infuses it with the New York Knicks’ signature palette, creating a collectible sneaker that resonates with hoop culture and sneakerheads alike. Released in 2017, the “Knicks” edition pops with contrast and personality while preserving the robust, performance-driven DNA of the original Air More Uptempo.
Overview
The Nike Air More Uptempo ‘Knicks’ is defined by its classic white leather upper that provides a clean backdrop for the oversized AIR lettering rendered in deep royal blue — a nod to the Knicks’ team colors. Vibrant orange accents on the branding details and visible Air unit bring added energy and visual flair to the design. A unique tribute element is found in the embroidered “33” on the heel, honoring Knicks legend Patrick Ewing, while the sockliner features a graphic referencing Scottie Pippen’s famous dunk over Ewing during the 1994 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals — combining sport lore with style. First released on September 23, 2017, this model originally retailed around $160 and was available in both adult and grade school sizes.
