The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% 3 'White Pure Platinum Obsidian Mist Gridiron' (FD8311-101) is Nike's marathon racing shoe in a white colourway with a Gridiron Swoosh. Released in 2025, this pair carries 'Road Racing AF' and '2025-03' text on a Pure Platinum gradient heel.
Overview
The Alphafly 3 is the lightest Alphafly Nike has made, built for marathon and half-marathon road racing. The Nike Alphafly 3 White Gridiron keeps that race-day platform in a clean white finish.
The official colourway is White/Pure Platinum/Obsidian Mist/Gridiron. A white Atomknit upper uses soft yarns for containment and breathability, with a Gridiron Swoosh that runs into the midsole and matching markings on the insoles. Underfoot, a ZoomX foam midsole connects fully to the outsole, with two forefoot Air Zoom units and a full-length carbon fibre Flyplate made slightly wider for stability. Nike lists an 8mm heel-to-toe drop.
The Alphafly Next% 3 is built for runners targeting fast times over long distances. The white and grey palette suits a race-day kit and stands out less than Nike's brighter Alphafly colourways.
Every pair is authenticated by hand at PUSHAS, so you can shop with confidence.
Key Highlights
• Air Zoom Units: Two forefoot Air Zoom units store and return energy at race pace.
• ZoomX and Flyplate: A full-length ZoomX midsole and carbon fibre Flyplate drive forward propulsion.
• Atomknit Upper: Soft Atomknit yarns give containment and breathability over long distances.
• Race-Dated Heel: 'Road Racing AF' and '2025-03' text on the Pure Platinum gradient heel.
