The Nike Shox R4 'Triple Black' (2025) (HQ1988-001) is Nike's original Shox running shoe in an all-black colourway.
Overview
The Shox R4 was released in 2000 as one of the first shoes to use Nike Shox, a cushioning system Nike had spent years developing. Its four heel columns gave the shoe its name and made it instantly recognisable.
Those foam columns compress on impact and spring back, giving a bouncy, responsive feel through the heel. The upper uses mesh with synthetic overlays and a reflective-style finish typical of early-2000s running design.
The R4 has returned to popularity as interest in Y2K-era footwear has grown. In triple black it is easy to wear with tracksuits, denim or monochrome outfits, and it hides wear well for everyday use.
Every pair is authenticated by hand at PUSHAS, so you can shop with confidence.
