The Nike Shox TL SE 'Black Anthracite' (IB6690-001) is a special-edition take on Nike's full-length Shox running silhouette, finished almost entirely in black with anthracite detailing.
Overview
Nike introduced its Shox cushioning in 2000 after years of development, using springy polyurethane columns in place of a conventional foam heel. The TL, short for Total Length, followed in 2003 and ran those columns from heel to toe, giving it one of the most recognisable profiles in Nike's catalogue.
This SE version keeps the signature column midsole and pairs it with a layered upper in tonal black. Anthracite accents break up the dark palette just enough to show the shape of the panels and the structure of the columns underneath.
The tall, mechanical stance makes the TL a statement shoe, and the blacked-out finish keeps it easy to wear with dark denim, cargos or technical outerwear. It suits anyone drawn to early-2000s Nike design who wants something lower-key than the louder metallic versions.
