Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions: Why the Eevee Set Still Sells Out in 2026

Pokémon Prismatic Evolutions is the special set that refuses to cool off. Released on 17 January 2025 and built entirely around Eevee and its evolutions, it turned into one of the hardest sealed products of the modern era — and eighteen months on, it still sells out on restock. The sealed Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box and the rest of the set are live in Pokémon TCG at PUSHAS, every box authenticated by hand. The live listing shows the current price.

What Prismatic Evolutions actually is

Prismatic Evolutions (set code SV8.5) was the fourth special expansion of the Scarlet & Violet era — smaller and more premium than a standard set, and themed around the single most beloved corner of the franchise: Eevee. The 131-card main set (180 including secret rares) introduced Eevee and the Eeveelutions as Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, wrapped them in a run of gorgeous illustration rares, and added etched Poké Ball and Master Ball reverse-holo patterns to the pull pool. In short, it took the most sentimental characters in Pokémon and gave them the prettiest cards of the year.

Why it keeps selling out

Three forces feed on each other. Eevee is a demand engine on its own — a full set of Eeveelution illustration rares is close to a best-case scenario for collector interest. On top of that, this was a special set, which meant no standard booster-box SKU and tighter supply of the large sealed product collectors most want to keep. Retailers reported allocations cut to a fraction of what they ordered on launch. When you pair genuinely constrained supply with genuinely broad demand, product clears the moment it lands — which is exactly what's happened, restock after restock.

The chase card does the rest of the talking. The Umbreon ex Special Illustration Rare (#161) became the set's crown jewel and one of the most sought-after cards of the whole Scarlet & Violet run — the single card most people are hoping to hit when they open sealed Prismatic product. Its status as the set's headline pull is not in dispute.

Which sealed Prismatic Evolutions product should you buy?

It depends on why you're buying. For a first box, the Booster Bundle is the simplest way in: packs, with no extras. The Elite Trainer Box is the collector's default — packs plus the accessories and dice. If you want the flagship, the Super Premium Collection is the showpiece of the range, with the Binder Collection a strong pick for anyone who cares as much about storing the set as opening it. The live listing shows the current price. One note: PUSHAS deals in sealed product only — no loose singles.
